On this page:The current IG BCE was formed in 1997 by the merger of three smaller unions. I do not have much information about symbols of these three, only a small image of the former logos. However, I saw the flag of one of the three, the former Industrial Chemistry, Paper, and Ceramics Union (IG CPK - Industriegewerkschaft Chemie, Papier, Keramik), during the 1 May 2003 demonstration in Munich. It shows the logo on a plain red field. The logo shows a black stylized industrial building (also a stylized inscription "IG" for Industriegewerkschaft), a yellow paper scroll (or trail of smoke), the yellow inscription Chemie.Papier.Keramik, all surrounded by a yellow oval; in the chimney of the building there are
some obvious tiles, that might be an allusion to the ceramics section.
